The space for the missing tooth needed to be the right size before an implant could go in. Moving the neighbouring teeth first would give a better result than placing an implant into the gap as it was.

We planned the space first with Invisalign, so the new tooth would be the right size and sit in line with the others.
Whitening came before the crown was made, because a crown’s colour can’t be changed later. That way the implant crown could be matched to his brighter natural teeth.
